Booster Club Info
ON THE ROAD AGAIN....
Members of the Booster Club and others hit the road to support the RoadRunners in their quest to clinch their first ever division title. The 'Runners did not disappomt, defeating Texas 5-3 on Friday to clinch the division and coming back on Friday with a 4-1 win at Wichita Falls. This group definitely makes its presence known!

This coming Saturday the Booster Club will be hosting a tailgate party in the Expocentre parking lot prior to the game. The party will begin at 5:00 and run until the game starts. Look for the blue tent on the south side of the parking lot.
This coming Sunday, the Booster Club will be hosting a fundraising poker tournament at the American Legion Post #1. The tournament will start at noon, and should be done somewhere around 3:00. You can get more information on this event at the Booster Club table, which is located on the concourse behind Section 101.
The Booster Club is also setting up a bus trip to Texas for the final two games of the regular season on March 28 and 29. If you are interested in riding the bus for the games against Wichita Falls and Texas, please stop by the Booster Club table (still on the concourse behind Section 101) for more information.

Fund Raising and Year End Banquet will be a few of the topics to be disscussed.

The Topeka Hockey Booster Club held an informational meeting in regards to our help with the June 9th Topeka Ice Fundraising extravaganza to be held on the lot of Topeka Ice and to include games, food, drink, and an unbeliveable auction. We need your help to pull this event together. Members will help distribute "Freeze-For-All" flyers at the Kansas Koyotes game on Saturday night, and there will be a BBQ at the RoadRunners office on Sunday afternoon. Details will be posted soon.
There was a meeting of the Topeka Hockey Booster Club on Thursday, March 29th, 6:30ish, at the Team Offices at the Expo.
If we want the RoadRunners to make it in Topeka, and want to help build Topeka Ice, and want to get our Youth Hockey Programs back on track we are going to have to have a strong Booster Club. Everyone is invited to help us make Hockey in Topeka work. I know there have been problems in the past but if you want to help and want to be involved please attend a meeting and join us. We would like to see not only some fans but Host Parents, Off Ice Officials, Topeka Ice Board members, Youth Hockey League Board Members, Coaches and Families and anyone else who would like to be involved. Because this involves everyone in the Hockey Community.
