Sharing special bond – Kamrass brothers help UML soar to fifth in nation

LOWELL — The Kamrass brothers like what they have seen from each other during their first season as hockey teammates at any level.

"You see the leadership that he brings to the team and how much the guys respect him," said UMass Lowell freshman left winger Jake Kamrass about older brother Zack, the team's senior captain. "I can take that and apply it for the next three years (at UMass Lowell), if not for my lifetime."

Zack Kamrass, a defenseman, enjoys being with a younger brother he had not spent this much time with since leaving their Atlanta home at age 15 to play junior hockey.
