Head Coach / GM Scott Langer
Topeka RoadRunners Head Coach / GM Scott Langer enters his fourth season as bench boss. After playing junior hockey himself, Scott got directly involved in coaching, with his first job coming as assistant coach in Bismarck, ND for the AWHL / NAHL Bobcats from 1997-2002. He then spent a season with the Chicago Steelof the USHL before moving to Texas to join the NAHL’s Lone Star Cavalry as an assistant for the 2003-04 season. After one season, the franchise was purchased and relocated to Santa Fe, NM, where the RoadRunners were born, providing Langer with his first head coaching position. Now, with the franchise setting up shop in Topeka, he looks to continue his winning ways, and also to continue helping players advance to quality schools. Originally from Long Island, NY, Langer has a passion for the game that is evident and contagious.
